It’s all about which factory the guitar is made at nowadays. Keep in mind that Japanese made Tokai are on a whole different level than Korean/Chinese made (not sure where they are currently producing). Some higher end Epiphones - never order online, they are a hit or miss, you need to check how good is it before you buy. In no way they are considered budget friendly.įujigen, if you can get them in your area. All produce high quality, professional instruments. These three brands are best value for money in my opinion. I know it's a high end brand but if we are talking value for money, it's greater than any high end Fender can give you (in my opinion of course) and still costs less than most Fender CS. On the higher price level there are Nash guitars, also customizable if you order new, meaning that you can get most models left handed. Keep in mind that their resale value is low, so buying them used gives you better value for money. Most importantly you can get them fully customized to your needs if you buy new. You get a lot more for your money in comparison to modern made Fenders. G&L are also a solid option for high quality American made Strat/Tele's. In terms of value for money they are one of the best brands (that make lefties) I can think of. You get Gibson like quality for half the price. If your NOT looking for budget guitars, I would recommend Eastman guitars.
